Summer Trips With Jack

On June 18th we took a flight down to Savannah to visit with Grammy, Poppy, Aunt Tami and Uncle Ross.  Jack was a fabulous traveler yet again!

We were able to relax and have a ton of fun throughout our trip.  The pool was a popular hang out for us while we were there. Jack loves the pool and loved being able to swim with everyone. We headed to Tybee Island one day to go to the beach and although he liked the beach, he was not quite as fond of the ocean.  He will be back, but for now he is enjoying the pool a little more.  Ryan took him into the ocean for his first time and as the first wave pushed against his back he began to cry.  He was not expecting it.  He ended the trip to the beach with a nice nap while listening to the waves. We loved our visit and look forward to having another one soon.

Onto our next big excursion... on July 30 we headed to Philadelphia to visit Grand Pop-pop (Anders), Great Aunt Beth, her friend Dawn, Uncle Ross and Aunt Tami.  Jack had so much fun spending time with everyone.  We were able to catch up with each other and it involved a lot of laughter.  Jack also met a lot of Pop-pop's friends and he was a hit among the ladies.  We plan on visiting again in the spring.

We have had some other fun trips to Indy to see friends and Mimi & Papa. As well as a trip to Nashville to celebrate "Auntie" Kate Evertsen's 30th.  There have been a few wonderful house guests too. It has been a very busy and exciting first summer for Jack!
