When Weight Gain is a Good Thing

Packing on the pounds
Jack went to the pediatrician's office today for a check up!  He has gained weight and lucky for him, this is one of the few times in life when that is a good thing:).  Here are his stats over the last three months:

Tuesday, January 25th
Birth weight: 7 lbs. 4oz.
Birth length: 19inches (the pediatrician thinks he could have been measured incorrectly).

Monday, March 7th- 6 weeks old
Weight: 11lbs. 12oz.- 75th Percentile
Length: 22 1/4 inches.- Average (they didn't give me a percentile)

Wednesday, April 6th-10 weeks old
Weight: 14lbs. 0oz.-75th Percentile
Length: 23 1/2 inches- Average (they didn't give me a percentile)

Don't worry, he is getting plenty to eat ;)!

The doctor said that he was so wiggly for a 2 1/2 month old baby.  She had seen a few babies his age this morning, but none of them moved quite as much as he did.  He was moving his arms and legs the entire time she was in the room.  So, he is very active and very strong.  He is keeping us busy!:)

Happy camper before the shots and weigh-in
An hour after the appointment.
Notice the two bandaids on his thighs. He survived two shots.
